Aislynne Reeds watched as her television clicked off, a glazed over look on her face. She simply couldn't do it anymore. Sitting inside all day, watching kids her age Attack each other. She walked out of her home, then stepped out, into the open air. She lived rather near to the forest, so it almost always smelled like trees outside. Today was no exception. She walked the twenty or so yards between her house and the fence that surrounded district six. She hasn't realized that she had been holding her breath until she exhaled it deeply, interlacing her fingers into the gate.
Most days she didn't have a chance to go outside, as she was always working in the medical center. She hardly spoke to anyone outside her family, and was mainly recognized my glares and odd looks around the district. Ash spun around and leaned back against the gate. It was supposed to be electrified at all times, but hardly ever was. She heard a noise coming from a a few yards down to her left. It sounded like... Walking?
