| Name: Jonathon Moyers
Age: 17
Member of: District 2
Appearance: Jonathon is about 6ft 1/2, give or take a few inches; he is also quite muscular and athletic. His hair is blonde and sometimes asserts a tinkling of brown. He wears clothes which usually try and show off his strength. He has been trained for the games, like many from District 2. His eyes are blue, and have dottings of green around them. His hair has been styled for most of his life, though when it is natural it suits his head shape rather well, but when wet it turns a browny colour. His skin colour is pale to tanned, usually more tanned, which sets him apart from most of District 2, he spends most of his time sat on the hill, working out, and relaxing. He is usually seen with at least one weapon in his belt, though never an Axe, he hates Axes, as he struggles to wield them. He is however good with a sword, dagger and bow; however his aim with a bow isn’t the best, but its average. He is also very good with spears, he can use them very easily, and he usually has one in his stores, even if he is told not to. His face is attractive, though it has a brutish aura around it, however most of the time he is actually kind to others, he isn’t like many brutes in District 2. He has quite a lot of scars, most of them appear across his legs from running around the woods, though he has a very small one just above his hand which he covers up with a Silver Bracelet, which he made himself.
Personality: Jonathon is at first a mixture of personalities, from a first glance he seems brutish, because of his strength, but he is kind, to those who need to be fooled. He is not kind out of happiness, and he uses this to his advantage. His sneaky nature leads to quite a persuasive alliance act, if he manages to pull it off. Ever since his mother died he became more of a work alone person, though he still kept his friends, which shows that he can behind and caring, he has feelings for people from his own District. The one thing that he doesn’t have is trust, he doesn’t trust many other people, and that has sort of lead to his sneaky nature, he is known to be precarious of other people, but he knows he can generally trust people from his own district. Jonathon is clever, and can outsmart people, his only flaw really is being seen by others, because of his height giving away his position, but he tends to a fair enough job of concealing himself.
He has sneaky in his personality, he is good at setting traps, but needs quite a bit of time to do so, and good with a bow, another thing that scuppers him though is climbing, he is a hopeless climber, and this angers him, his luck tends to run out in woodlands, and he tends to stay on the ground, hoping he could get in the tree tops. He is also not very domestic, he can cook a bit, but he isn’t very fluent in the art, he prefers for other people to cook for him, he can hunt animals down well enough though.
History: Jonathon was born into a family who were quite obsessed with the Games; they called it an Honour to fight for District 2 in the Games, but he didn’t really see the point. However he agreed to sort off train for them, just in case, Jonathon has always been tall, something he inherited from his father, and also something that he uses o wrestle people to the ground. The family constantly talked about the uses of joining the Games, the constant glory, but the one Question Jonathon had never plucked up the courage to ask was, What if I die? The one thing he had feared through his whole life was dying, the one thing that he was afraid of. He had often spent many days in the hills, working out, growing stronger, alone, push ups and sit ups, dreading, and hoping at the same time, for the day that his name was pulled out. For most of Jonathon’s life he had wondered about other Districts as well as the Capitol, and of Course the games.
To Jonathon’s misfortune during February, when he was just 13, his mother died, killed by illness, and his Father was forced to work full time, leaving Jonathon at home, taking his anger out on the walls of the House he vowed to avenge his mother, even though a person wasn’t the cause of her death. This anger actually made him stronger; he became less forgiving, meaner, and more powerful. His time was spent from that day forward, learning how to kill, animal and people alike, both were as useless as each other in Jonathon’s book. The boy had grown to hate everything, and then after a few years passed he started to get less angry, and started to grow on his intellect, using sneakiness and cunning, he was now fully trained for the day just in case he was forced to fight, maybe even in the Arena.
Ask away amigos. xD | |

| Although Jonathan's family is obsessed with the games, does he still think that it is unfair for the Capitol to treat people like that, and just put them out for slaughter? | |

He has mixed feelings towards the Games to be honest, he doesn’t like the fact that people are forced to go and fight, even though he does like the fighting aspect of them he likes to watch how pathetic some people’s fighting is, but he feels sympathy towards the people that get picked in a way as he doesn’t generally like seeing people in fear, and he definitely finds the Capitol brutal, but wouldn’t really say it openly as he is from District 2 and that would make you an outcast quite easily. Jonathon doesn't really care about the Games that much anyway, he just agreed to train for them, mainly because of his mothers constant talk of glory,

| 1. Does Jonathon want to be in the Hunger Games? Would he ever volunteer as tribute, or is he just training in case he gets chosen?
2. What is Jonathon's relationship like with his father? Did it change at all after his mother's death? Was Jonathon ever resentful of his father for being away at work so much, especially right after his mother died?
3. What would it take for someone to earn Jonathon's trust? Do you think it's even possible for someone to earn his trust?

| 1.Does Jonathon want to be in the Hunger Games? Would he ever volunteer as tribute, or is he just training in case he gets chosen? Jonathon doesn’t really think about it, though he probably wouldn’t volunteer as Tribute, he usually only looks out for himself, and even though he feels sympathetic for those that get chosen he wouldn’t put himself in danger, he doesn’t really put himself in harmful situations basically. He trains mainly because his mother and father told him to, which escalates the fact that he is preparing just in case he gets chosen, though now he is getting older, he is starting to slacken off a bit.
2. What is Jonathon's relationship like with his father? Did it change at all after his mother's death? Was Jonathon ever resentful of his father for being away at work so much, especially right after his mother died? Jonathon’s relationship with his father is quite bad, as his father contradicts himself using Jonathon, so for example he’s lazy yet he is forcing Jonathon to train. Jonathon has on the odd occasion attacked his father, though he usually manages to stop himself. Jonathon hated his father for leaving him alone in the house, even though it gave Jonathon a lot of thinking time, he always raged on it his father about how he was supposed to look after him, though as Jonathon got older their relationship got much better since Jonathon was more willing to help his father as he was getting old, and he was the only family he had left so he helps out much more.
3.What would it take for someone to earn Jonathon's trust? Do you think it's even possible for someone to earn his trust? It is possible to earn his trust, though it takes time, he is quite cocky in general, so if someone accepts him for who he is and generally helps him out in some way then I suppose he would trust them though before any of that could happen Jonathon would have to like their personality aswell. But if Jonathon managed to trust someone and they back stabbed him then he would never trust them again not matter what they do to make him forgive them. So as a result he trusts very few people.

| 1.How did Jonathon's father react in an incident when Jonathon attacked him? Did Jonathon get into trouble? Jonathon’s father really couldn’t have cared less about Jonathon’s actions, though his father still tried to make Jonathon pay, though he didn’t tend to show it in his emotions, Jonathon’s father made him do work though Jonathon sometimes refused, which ended up in Jonathon’s father hitting him, but Jonathon could take these hits, and really didn’t care about what his father wanted (Of course until his father started to get older.) Jonathon is generally stronger than his Father now, so his Father often just forces him to work. 2.Would you say that Jonathon is a violent person? Does he often use violence to solve his problems? In general Jonathon is quite a violent person, he did end up punching random objects to try and stop himself from actually punching his father, though he didn’t really succeed in much apart from somewhat denting the walls of the house. If someone challenges him he will not think twice about fighting them, and he will usually win, though he never gets away unscaved. Jonathon doesn’t always use violence though; he will talk things through with people that he deems deserve the respect, and would never use violence to solve his problems with a Girl, unless of course they had betrayed him.
3.What kinds of things does Jonathon do to help out his father? What kinds of things do they do together, if anything? The tasks that Jonathon does for his father, he rarely does them willingly, but buying Groceries and small things like that are the main ones he will do. He will sometimes help out with his Dad’s projects, when he needs Jonathon to hammer into the stones he uses though he can’t usually face up talking to his father anyway so that is probably the only one he would do in his father’s presence as he can’t talk to him, so those Father and Son moments are quite rare, though Jonathon knows he needs to face up to the fact that he is older now, and so is his father, so he tries to help out without losing his temper, and he generally manages to accomplish this.

| Your answers are awesome! -tosses you more questions-
1. So I take it Jonathon gets in a lot of fights? Is he considered a bully or a troublemaker in his district?
2. What kinds of people are Jonathon likely to be friends with? Why?
3. It seems as though Jonathon doesn't look up to his father. Is this true? Are there any other adults in Jonathon's life that he looks up to? Who would he come to for advice if he needed it?

| Haha, thanks April and your questions are epic! xD
1. So I take it Jonathon gets in a lot of fights? Is he considered a bully or a troublemaker in his district? He does get into quite a lot of fights, but he doesn’t really bully, he can give a hard punch if he deems it necessary though, so I suppose it is all in the ye of the beholder to whether they think he is a Bully or not, though on the whole he is consider one of the stronger members of District 2 that isn’t to be messed with. It is more of an aura of power than bullying, as he doesn’t really like making fun of people.
2. What kinds of people are Jonathon likely to be friends with? Why? He’s likely to be friends with people that understand him, and don’t think they are better than him, even if they actually are. He usually makes friends with any boy that is generally weaker than he is so they don’t get picked on so much, though he will be friends with people that want a fight but just for a laugh and he doesn’t really get along with sore losers, so probably someone that can admit defeat. Though Jonathon’s perspective of having friends that are girls is different, he will get along with those girls that complement him and understand him because of his personality not his looks.
3. It seems as though Jonathon doesn't look up to his father. Is this true? Are there any other adults in Jonathon's life that he looks up to? Who would he come to for advice if he needed it? No he doesn’t look up to his father at all. At first it was his mother whom Jonathon would go and ask for advice though obviously she died, so Jonathon had to trust his Fathers judgments, something he regrets, though now he doesn’t really have someone to go to for advice, he has had to grow up quickly, though he has started to find it much easier to settle around people, if he needs advice he now goes to visit one of the local shopkeepers with whom he is rather friendly with, though Jonathon has his doubts on whether or not to trust the advice he is given as he generally finds it hard to trust people anyway.

| Thanks~! Your answers make it easy to come up with more questions ^^
1. How does Jonathon feel about school? What are his grades like? Does he have any ambitions for once he is done with school?
2. I get the impression that Jonathon is less likely to befriend girls than boys. Is this true? How often has he felt that girls just wanted to be friends with him because of his looks rather than his personality? What are Jonathon's feelings about girls in general?
3. You said earlier that Jonathon is beginning to slack off on his training for the Games. Why is he? What kinds of things is he doing differently?

| I totally didn't forget about this or anything. O.o Nope...
1. How does Jonathon feel about school? What are his grades like? Does he have any ambitions for once he is done with school?
Jonathon is pretty much done with school to be honest, seeing as he’s 18. He doesn’t really view it as important, he was pretty set on the idea that he was going to get selected for the Games, but of course he now has doubts and he is now simply aspiring to be part of a job which requires him to work, so Stone Masonry or something like that. xD
2. I get the impression that Jonathon is less likely to befriend girls than boys. Is this true? How often has he felt that girls just wanted to be friends with him because of his looks rather than his personality? What are Jonathon's feelings about girls in general?
Your right, to an extent anyway, Jonathon does hang around with guys more, but that is only if Jonathon actually manages to get into a group of lads, he pretty much pushes people away from him unless they sincerely want to be friends with him because of who he is, not because of his powerfulness/ look. He has this feeling towards both boys and girls, and he is very reluctant to befriend anyone, boy or girl, who just wants him for his looks. As for his opinion on girls in general, Jonathon is pretty set on the fact that they can’t be trusted, though he often shows off around them, and it usually works. It gives him a pretty good idea as to how they feel about him. Of course he then gets progressively nicer, and notices their reaction.
3. You said earlier that Jonathon is beginning to slack off on his training for the Games. Why is he? What kinds of things is he doing differently?
The main reason he is slacking with the training is due to the fact that he doubts he’ll get picked out anymore. Now that Jonathon is 18 he is starting to not see the point anymore, of course he does train sometimes, but it is no were near as actively as it was before. Another main reason is because of his father getting older and lazier, he has to do other jobs instead. The domestic stuff, not that he likes it.
