However, it's not my fault he's so freaking adorable. And a SERIOUSLY good actor. And stars in my favorite movie. O.o

Such a good movie, guys. Seriously, you need to see it. I've never been more emotionally affected by any other movie. And Asa is an extraordinary actor. *nod* He's great in other things too. XD

I'm with Monica! Go watch it! I especially loved it because I'm a bit of a film nerd. I watched the movie right after my film class was over, and so many of the clips of old movies they showed I recognized from the class.

Especially Georges Melies and "A Trip to the Moon." I'm such a nerd.

I love how it starts out as an orphan fixing an automaton, but then that starts to connect with old cinema and how everything has a purpose. One of the greatest stories I've ever watched/read.

Mhmmm...The main reason I don't really want to watch it is due to the use of an American putting on a British accent.
It never goes down well in the U.K.
The movie was only advertised once on U.K T.V.
And no one really thought it looked that interesting. o.O

Regardless, you should give it a shot if you ever have the time. It's really fantastic, in my opinon. Everything about the movie is just great, from the camerawork to the actors to the story itself (but maybe not the accents xP).

I really can't be the judge of the English accents because I'm American. Also (correct me if I'm wrong) I believe Chloe Moretz is the only one who had to "fake" an English accent. XD

And I hope the accents won't stop you from watching it, Hades. Don't judge from the trailer; I have no idea what movie that was advertising XD . It's nothing like the trailer and the film is just amazing all-around.

Without giving too much away, the plot is really about how an orphan living in a Paris train station in the 1930's. He's been attempting to fix a mysterious automaton that his father found. It's all connected back to a famous pioneer of film-making and how everything in life has a purpose. It's very, very interesting. And I cried several times. XD

Wasn't Asa Bruno in "The Boy in Striped Pajamas"? He looks like him, a lot. If it is, then the accent isn't fake, Jonny. He had the same accent in that one. If it's not, then...he look a lot like him. However, as with Miss Mollie, not the best judge with my epic Pennsylvanian accent.

I've read some of the book, so I kinda know what it's all about (assuming it is based on the book). And it won like 8 bajillion Oscar's, so it's gotta be pretty good, right?

The reason they have British accents in Paris is purely because by the time the cast was put together, there were no French actors; just British and American. So instead of having everyone speak with a French accent, they just chose a standard English. It is a bit strange, but doesn't really affect the film that much. XD

@Marceline: You should've seen me on Oscar night. I was freaking out because Hugo won so many! XD It was nominated for 11 awards, including Best Picture.
