Medicine ((Open for anyone to join.))

Ever walked down the empty streets. Some shops were closed since it was early. But of course the medicine shop would be open....Right? He sighed and stopped looking up at the morning clouds as if there would be an answer there. All he got was a flock of birds flying that had flew past. Dang. His mother had come down with a mild cold, and he had to get her some mint leaves. He jogged to the shop, hopeing the it would be open.

As it turned out the shop doesn't open for another 3 hours. He kicked at a small pebble on the street boredly. 3 hours...what is he to do for the next 3 hours? He could go say hi to his cousints...or go see Jared, his best friend. No. They would be asleep by now...why had he gotten up so early in the first place? He sat down on the curb of the road, and placed his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands.

Isabella had gotten off the train, she was hungry and didn't want to bother Taryn and ask her where to get food. Once she hopped off, she realized where she was. District 1, the place where some of the luxury goods for the Capitol were made. It was more colorful than any other District, because of it's job.She walked down the streets in her leather jacket and jeans. She hoped she didn't look too out of place, the people weren't that colorful, though, just the city.

It was pretty early, so people wouldn't be walking around, she reasoned. Isabella crossed the street to get to one of the bakery shops, money in hand. She looked to the right, to check for people, and saw a kid sitting on the curb, looking pretty depressed... or just bored. Being bored was depressing. A small reddish-striped cat with bright blue eyes sat beside him. 'What harm could there be?' Isabella thought, and strolled over to him. Food could wait. "Are you ok?" She asked.

((Its my age...I've been meaning to change I but I've been kinda busy...x) And I'll change it to third person, Past tense real quick, sorry. I think I created him to be about 15 1/2.))

Everett heard someone near him but he didn't look up. He watched as Ranger rubbed against his legs, purring awfully loudly. "Are you okay?" He looked up hearing someone speak to him. At first he had thought that it was Madison, his mothers friend. Instead it was a young woman, he hadn't ever seen before. He nods, "Yes, I'm fine..." He looked at her wondering if she was from another district. His curiosity got to him, "...Do you mind telling me who you are, Please?" Yes, unlike some rich snobs that lived around he was raised with actual manners.

He kept looking at her, while Ranger purred away. The few things that had him wondering who she was and where she was from, were her clothes first. Because most people he knew only wore light colors. Just like the white pants and sweater he had on plus light blue t-shirt. She was out of place in her black and leather. What else came to his attention was her black hair. He didn't know many people with the hair color of black...green and blue, maybe. But not many with black.

Crap. What was she gonna say? She was obviously not from here, and she knew this guy knew it. "Um... I'm... From the poorer end of this District." She realized he was a rich boy, judging from the fine quality of his light clothing. "I came here to look for a job...To support my family." As she talked, Isabella hid the money she had in her inner jacket pocket.

Isabella felt a bit uncomfortable at his stare. "What's so strange? Have you never seen a girl with dark hair in dark clothing before?" She snapped nervously. God, she was a horrible liar. He was so suspicious already. "Um, I'd better go..." She inched away slowly while cursing herself mentally. Why did I have this piece of shit idea?!?!?!? I've gotta get my ass outta here quick...

He listened to her speak, and he stopped staring. He began to pet Ranger repeatedly. When she said she better go he stood quickly. To quickly for Ranger's comfort. "Wait no! I'm sorry if I offended you in any way." He shrugged and looked down at Ranger as they Approched the woman. "But, I've never seen someone from the much...unwealthier district look so well fed, and well...look like you!" He swolled and continued, "I'm sorry if I'm babbling. I'm Everett Rayne. Grand-Nephew to the mayor."

One he introduced himself, he remembered that he had asked her who she was. He looks at her and asked, "I don't mean to sound rude but I asked who you were not where you lived." He grinned lightly. "I told you who I'am...now whats your name?" He said in a gentle tone. He didn't want her to go back to the poor side of the district saying how he was anything but kind and gentle. He liked being known for his great personality and free-willed spirit.

Allie kicked a pebble and it flew across the street. She sighed. Allie was visiting the city to buy and sell some cheese her mother had gaven her. Her mother always insisted that District 1 would always buy things at a higher price.She was wearing a bright orange tank top and skinny jeans, finally finishing with her black high tops. She was only wearing this to blend with the city. Why am I still out here? Oh right, Naomi. Do it for Naomi, Allie. Do it for Naomi Allie thought, an image of her sisters sweet smiling face flooded her mind. Allie looked around. Nobody, as she suspected, was out to buy something this early. Suddenly, she saw 2 people talking. Worth a shot Allie decided as she walked up to them. "Hey. Do you want any che- I mean- What are you doing out here?" She said, hiding the cheese farther into her pocket of her jeans, now embarassed as she realized the boy was from this district. Allie, you're not that poor. You're from District 2, after all. Allie decided in her mind, smiling at them all.

A girl with a bright orange tank top and jeans walked in as Isabellanwas set to make an exit. She groaned internally. This "get out to get out of everybody's hair" plan was NOT working out so well. The boy in white stopped her, apologizing for any offensiveness in his statements. Isabella was a little confused. Why was he so nice? She wondered.

She was a little more at ease now, he wasn't as suspicious of her anymore, she thought. "It's... fine. And, well, I learned to feed myself." The girl in the tank top approached as she finished speaking. She was about to offer cheese, but thought better of herself, and asked what Isabella and the boy were doing tjere.

Great, Isabella thought, more questions.

Allie just sighed and crossed her arms, trying to act like she was from this district. "Anyway, I was going to ask if you wanted any cheese that I bought from the-uh- store over there. Apparently I bought too much." She said, pulling the carefully wrapped cheese out of her pocket and pointing to a random store. Luckily, it was a food store.
