Where to now? ((Thalia/open))

The girls mainly waked in silence. Zia was obviously reading the note, so Thalia tried to block her from Taryn's sight. Zia tripped.
"Give me a second guys. I need to tie my shoe. I'll catch up in a minute." Zia said. Thalia glanced back. She figured that Zia was replying to the note, so she turned back around.
"So...Taryn. How many districts have you ever been to. The districts intrigue me. I really want to go to the Capitol, but I don't want to go there for the Hunger Games. I just want to go there to see what it's like." Zia came back. She slipped the note into Thalia's pocket, but just to be sure, she tapped on Thalia's hand. The note said: 'I don't feel like I'm being controlled by a person, so much, as by the decisions that other people make. Where I live in District 6, science is everything, and what you learn as a child determines your future. I don't quite know what I want my future to be, yet. I wish that, sometimes, my parents would actually ask me what I want. I'll tell you more later, if you want to listen. If not, that's okay too. Thanks for asking though.' Thalia was still curious about the school thingy, but she realized that it seemed to annoy Zia, so she didn't reply.

When the other girls got to the house, they shrieked in surprise. There was a girl there, and they had never seen her before. They were obviously wondering what in the world was going on. "Hello. My name is Arianna Redcloud. Is there any means of shelter around here? I ran away from my district in search of a better place to live. I am in desperate need of help." The girl had straight blond hair, and she looked about the same age as Taryn and Ziazon. "I can understand if you don't help, because I'm a stranger and everything, but could you please?" Arianna had this look on her face that was almost like a puppy dog face, and the others wanted to laugh, but then they remembered that she was in a great need of help.

((Okay a few things.

1. Great rp! I appreciate your enthusiasm in joining and everything and wanting to be apart of this role playing community
2. But you have to send in a character sheet before you can rp Sorry rules. We don't want a bunch of computers spamming up the site.
3. Also you said that you wanted to be in District 3. You can't rp in a different district other than district three unless your part of the rebel railway.
4. If you haven't read the rules or the explanation to for the railway/site. I suggest you should in order to clear everything up!

Sorry for the trouble

Thalia, Zia and Taryn were almost at the house now. Suddenly, each one of them shrieked in suprise. There was a girl there who looked about the same age as Zia and Taryn. She had straight blond hair, and brown eyes. She didn't look like anyone from district 7. Thalia was sick and tired of meeting strangers that day, and was about to ask what she was doing here, but the girl answered before Thalia could ask.
"Hello. My name is Arianna Redcloud. Is there any means of shelter around here? I ran away from my district in search of a better place to live. I am in desperate need of help." The girl had a look on her face so sincere, that Thalia knew she was telling the truth.
"I can understand if you don't help, because I'm a stranger and everything, but could you please?" Arianna pleaded.
"Okay, here's the deal. This is district 7, and I am Thalia. These are Ziazon and Taryn." Thalia motioned toward Zia and Taryn. "At the moment, these two are spending the night at my house. I just met them today, along with you now. Just a question, why did you run away?"

((k cool, you sent in your character sheet but you still need to explain how she got to district 7. Is dhe part of the railway?))

Arianna thought for a moment.
'Just a question, why did you run away?' Thalia had said. Should Arianna really tell? People in these times don't just say: Hey! I'm a rebel. Yeah, I got here from the rebel railway.
People just don't do that. You can get seriously punished from the peace keepers.
"Well, after we got to three, we settled in, but a couple of weeks ago, my little brother got whipped. He didn't do anything really, but he was accused of stealing from the shops in the square. Right after that, it took him several weeks to heal. He's still not fully healed, but our oldest sister refused to let us stay in three. She's very protective. I guess it's just a side effect from being in the arena. Anyway. I might go back to three, but for now, we need to find shelter elsewhere." Arianna didn't mention the railway, just in case. Thalia and Ziazon looked puzzled, but Taryn looked like she understood.
Oh no. Thought Arianna. Maybe she knows about the train. Just then, Arianna took the whole story back, and wished she hadn't said it.

Thalia turned her whole idea around about this girl. Arianna had just told a story about how her little brother was whipped, and how they had to leave their district. Thalia used to think that Arianna was kinda weird, but now she sorta felt bad for her. Right after Arianna told the story, she had a look on her face like she wished she could take the whole thing back. Thalia thought for a moment. Arianna said that she had to find shelter. Thalia racked her brain, trying to think of a place that Arianna could sleep, because her house was already full. Then she thought of it. Back in the older days during the rebellion, 7 built a secret hotel. It looks like a simple broken down warehouse, and no one goes in it.
"Hey, Arianna. I know a place you can stay." Thalia gave Arianna directions to the warehouse, and she was off.

Zia, Taryn, and Thalia kept walking through the forest, following a path that Zia assumed led to Thalia's house. Hoping that there was no tension because of her and Thalia passing messages, Zia glanced towards Taryn; she seemed fine. Zia knew that she must have notices their failed attempts at subtlety, but decided that she must just be too polite to comment. 'Well, there was always the possibility that she really hadn't noticed, but, no. She probably did.' Suddenly another girl was in front of them. Zia had been lost in her own thoughts, so she hadn't noticed the new girl approach.
"Hello. My name is Arianna Redcloud. Is there any means of shelter around here? I ran away from my district in search of a better place to live. I am in desperate need of help." Zia stared. The girl, Arianna's, appearance had surprised and scared her, but the girl's openness shocked her all the more. Though she was usually cautious with strangers, everybody was, Taryn and Thalia had been nice, and the girl had such a sincere face that Zia couldn't say no to helping her. The only problem, she didn't know where anything was in the district.

Zia almost gasped when she heard Arianna's story. She couldn't believe that they could be that cruel to a little boy. When Thalia gave Arianna directions to a warehouse Zia was relieved. She wondered if they could do anything more though.
Once Arianna was gone, Zia turned to Thailia. "Do you think we could bring them anything? Food or maybe blankets?"

((eep really sorry y'all. I will reply to this later today if I have extra time between my mother's surprise party and extreme Latin study mode.))

Arianna was so surprised at the other girls kindness. In three, all you could expect from a request like this was either sleeping outside, or something really horrible. Taryn and Ziazon plainly looked perplexed, while Thalia actually let Arianna and her family stay at a secret hotel that the rebels of 7 founded. Wow. Thought Arianna. They must trust me really well. Not that I would do anything bad.
"Thank you." said Arianna. As she was walking away, she heard the girl called Ziazon ask Thalia if they should bring them blankets or anything like that. Arianna started gaining speed, excited to tell the rest of her siblings.

As Taryn caught her breath and walked besides the girls, Zia said, "hey Taryn! I'm glad you could catch up!"
"Haha, thanks!" She flushed. Taryn was surprised at how nice they were being.

Thalia screamed "OW" and some things else and stopped. Taryn tried to run to her, but she saw her take something from her sock and quickly turned around. She didn't want the girl to get angry with her and above all, she did not want to lose her temper herself. Her anger issues were something that she liked to keep a secret and not inflict upon others. However, she was still very curious, so she stole a glance back whenever she could. So much was on her mind that she barely noticed that Zia was humming beside her.

Finally, the girl caught up and Taryn had to strain her eyes to remain looking discreet while the girl slipped a note in Zia's pocket. Taryn felt anger flare up that the two were obviously trying to communicate without her overhearing. Taryn took large breaths in and out. Stay calm, there must be some logical explanation for this. When Zia picked up the note, Taryn didn't even need to pretend that she didn't see it. Rolling her eyes, Taryn crossed her arms and tried her best not to look smug.

Then, of all things, Zia stopped and "tied her shoelace."
"Really?" Taryn couldn't help but whisper.

Catching back up, Zia said in a voice as calm as Taryn even assumed possible, "so, I'm with my school and Thalia lives here; what are you doing in District 7?"
Well, boom, crash, there go all my thoughts of them being nice. She assumed that they were trying to play her to fish out answers.

Thalia spoke saving Taryn. "So...Taryn. How many districts have you ever been to. The districts intrigue me. I really want to go to the Capitol, but I don't want to go there for the Hunger Games. I just want to go there to see what it's like."

Not even bothering to let out a sigh of relief that she could avoid the question. Taryn replied. "Only a few. It's really really hard to get around without getting in trouble. Zia, you know if any peacekeepers catch either of us here,we could be executed. It's really dangerous." Taryn looked down seemingly hiding her fear, but she was really trying to avoid eye contact and any more questions. Being a rebel, she understood the consequences but she didn't think Zia did. Suddenly she didn't care about the note, she didn't really even care about them, her hunger for the capital just grew.

Suddenly, as if everything before had evaporated, another girl appeared and made a plea for help. Curiouser and curiouser this day was too odd. It had to be a trap, they had somehow figured it out. But Thalia jumped to the case and began sending out what they must do to help her. "At the moment, these two are spending the night at my house. I just met them today, along with you now. Just a question, why did you run away?"


"Of course." Taryn sighed. It was so quiet that she was sure only she could hear it. And why is she so freaked out about her running away? She finished to herself.



The girl began her story, and Taryn jolted up. She had pretty much been in denial the whole time and afraid to talk to anyone, so she hadn't even properly looked at the girl yet. All she saw was strait dark blond hair. Taking her in Taryn wanted to slam her fist into her face. She had seen this girl before! But she had only just showed up this morning and she was in a dark rage so Stan had just been comforting the her the whole time and the girl ...Ariana had most likely never even seen her. Jerking her hand to her hair, Taryn pushed her bangs out of her face with a little too much extra force and said a little louder than she meant, "how could I have been so stupid?" After this, she didn't hear anyone else talk. She knew Thalia and Zia must have been replying but she didn't hear it. She just walked right into the middle of the fray and put her hand on Ariana's shoulder. "Does anyone know you left the train? Don't freak out, I'm with you, but your not supposed to leave! Their protecting you until you can find your own way with the rebels." Taryn mouthed the last three words so the other girls couldn't hear her.
Crossing her fingers, she then bent over and whispered in her ear. "Don't explain anything about the rebels. We'll put ourselves at too much of a risk. We were supposed to be back by nightfall anyway. I'll watch over you and make sure you make it back okay. I won't let the peacekeepers get to you." Pulling herself away from her ear, still with her hands on both of the girl's shoulders,she said, "okay? No need to worry. You'll be fine."

Oopsies. That's the only word Arianna could think of at the moment. Right before Arianna left for the warehouse hotel, Taryn kinda had a tantrum. Taryn told her about how she shouldn't have left the train, and how they were supposed to be back by nightfall. Oopsies. Taryn also told her about how if the peace keepers saw them that they would be executed. Oopsies. Again and again Arianna kept finding mistake after mistake in her and her siblings getting on that train. Arianna didn't notice how much trouble she was in until she was nearing the warehouse.
"Wait." Arianna mumbled. "I forgot my siblings."
Arianna started walking over to where her siblings were. They were a tiny bit into the woods, but still inside the gate. There was a huge pile of trees about 100 yards to the left. Arianna was nearing her siblings. She told them all how they had to get to the warehouse hotel as fast as they could, and that a girl named Taryn would be there to help them out. She didn't mention the peace keeper thing, because she was afraid that she would scare her little siblings, and her oldest sister would have another fit. They started walking back. They past the pile of trees. As they were walking along, Arianna saw a white strip of paper. She started walking towards it. She took it as a piece of rubbish. But then she took a closer look. It had Thalia's name in it, and it was signed Zia. Arianna just supposed that that was Ziazon's nickname. Zia was saying something about how school controls her life, and how she didn't like it at all. Even though it was a simple piece of paper, and probably didn't mean anything important, Arianna still had an odd feeling about it.
"Hey guys," Arianna said to her siblings. "We probably still have time. I want to stop by somewhere." So the five siblings started heading off to Thalia's house. As they arrived, Zia, Thalia and Taryn were inside the house. The window was opened. The house was a little bit less quality than the one that Arianna's family was staying in, but it was still kind of nice. Arianna's oldest sister told her that when she was on the victory tour, she stopped by all the districts, and barely any districts had a nice home. The three main one were 2 (because they're babied by the Capitol,) 3 (just for some odd reason,) and 7 (probably that they make them themselves, being lumbering and what not). Well, anyway. Arianna knocked on the door, still holding the note in her hand, and they waited.

Thalia was confused. Arianna had been gone for a good hour, and now she, and her siblings by the looks of it were standing at the door. Thalia looked at her mom. She was making dinner. Suddenly, she stopped. She saw them too. Thalia stood up and opened the door.
"Um...hey Arianna. What are you doing here?" Then Thalia saw the note in her hand. "Oh, that's why." Thalia mumbled. She knew it was no big deal and everything, but Arianna definitely thought it was, and they were supposed to be at the warehouse hotel by now.
"Could you guys wait just a minute?" Thalia asked Taryn, Zia, her mom and dad. Her mom nodded. Thalia motioned Arianna to follow her. They walked for about five minutes in complete silence. Then Thalia lost it.
"Where did you get that piece of paper, and why did you come to my house again? Thalia snapped at Arianna. She wasn't trying to be mean, but she wanted to help her. Thalia has really good hearing, and she heard the whole entire whispered conversation between Taryn and Arianna. Taryn had been afraid for her, and now so was Thalia. Thalia's a kind of person who once they meet someone, she clings to them. Arianna didn't answer.
"I'm sorry, I'm just afraid for you." And she told Arianna everything about the note, and how it was no big deal, and she even told her that she had heard the conversation, and how Arianna needed to watch her back, everywhere she went. They started walking back to the house. When they got to the house, dinner was ready. You could smell the pizza from outside. Mom must've gone to the bakery, that's odd. Thalia thought.
"Who's this, Thalia?" Thalia's mom said.
"Oh, yeah. Mom, dad, this is Arianna Redcloud." She indicated towards Arianna. Thalia leaned over to Arianna. "You should probably put the note in your pocket." Thalia whispered. And they all started eating.

Thalia led Taryn and Zia to her home, and when the went inside Zia and Taryn were introduced to Thalia's parents. A little after the introductions, Thalia's mom started cooking something for dinner; Zia wasn't entirely sure what it was, but it sure smelled good and she was hungry. It hadn't occurred to her until that point, put she hadn't eaten since breakfast that morning. Her class had planned on eating lunch, a sandwich, on the way back from their trip. Back on the bus.
Fighting back feelings of guilt, Zia tried to focus on Thalia and Taryn, but she couldn't. The reality of what she was doing finally occurred to her. She had practically run away from home. Well, not really, but it was close. She really hoped that her parents wouldn't realize that she was missing. They'd worry. Zia wanted an adventure, she wanted to get away, but not if it would cause her parents to worry. Zia knew that they worked really hard so their family could live in 6 and get a good education, and Zia definitely didn't take it for granted. She saw kids at school everyday who never had to worry amount money or food. Zia's family wasn't poor, but they weren't in a position where they could throw money around or splurge on things either.
'Knock. Knock. Knock.'
Zia looked up when she heard the banging on the door, and she was even more surprised by who it was than she had been by the disturbance. The girl that they had met earlier, Arianna, was at the door. She was flanked my a few younger looking children and she was clutching a paper.
"Oh, don't let it be about that. Not about that." Zia whispered as she checked her pockets for the paper. She thought Thalia had it, but, thinking back, when the ran into Arianna earlier things had gotten confused, and she wasn't sure where her note ended up.
Zia had tried not to let on to it earlier, but she had heard what Taryn said to Arianna back in the clearing. She and Thalia had been talking, but Thalia had paused in the conversation while Taryn whispered, and, Zia suspected, had heard the words Thalia said as well. Zia hand't heard much about the Rebel Railroad, but she heard snippets of a conversation her parents had one night. It had been the day after a friend of the family had disappeared without a trace. Zia hadn't understood at the time, but she had heard the words 'escape' 'rails' and 'freedom'.
Earlier in the day Zia had pretended she hand't heard because she didn't want to get into Taryn's business. Zia honestly didn't care if the girl was a Rebel, she didn't want to call attention to something she didn't see as a problem And anyway, Taryn obviously didn't seem to want to share, so who was she to push her for an explanation.
'No. No. No.' Zia kept thinking as Thalia led Arianna outside. She knew that Thalia would handle the note situation, but she didn't want Arianna to end up in danger because of such a trivial thing as a passed note.
As she waited with Taryn, Zia turned and said "Well, what do you think's going on? Do you thing she had trouble finding the warehouse? And were those her siblings?"
Before she got any answer though, the door reopened and Thalia, followed by Arianna stepped inside.
"Hey Arianna, how are you?" Zia said.
Thalia introduced Arianna to her mom, then they sat down to dinner.

Why is it that Zia looks upset? Is it something about her family? Her home? Her friends? Then Arianna realized. She had seen the note in her hand. It was about her school. Arianna knew that it didn't matter really, but Zia had a guilty look on her face. What's wrong? Arianna thought. It was only about school. Then she thought back a little bit more. Thalia had said that Zia was from a different district. Did she run away from her district because of school? Arianna decided not to ask, but she felt that Zia might be becoming suspicious, because Arianna kept stealing glances at her.

Taryn couldn't stop from showing her confusion. Too much was happening and going on someone was here, then they had to leave, more people show up, people look upset. Taryn wasn't really paying attention to anything or anyone because all she was concerned about was that they both had to get back to the train, and no one could follow them. Everyone was already acting weird around the two of them. They - would - both - die if the PEacekeepers found out or someone called them, Zia might even have to go to jail from running away from her school. Taryn inadvertently moaned and whispered, "we have to get out of here we have to get out of here." More to herself than anyone else, but if they heard her, so be it.

Taryn listened to Thalia talk to her family almost with longing. How can they just go along with it like that? Taryn had been on the railway for a while, and all of them either they never knew a family, or their families did terrible things to them. Taryn's father disappeared off the face of the world, her mother hated her, and her brother was dead. She couldn't help but eye her family with longing, but she didn't let it show.

"Well, what do you think's going on? Do you thing she had trouble finding the warehouse? And were those her siblings?"
"Er... yeah, I believe that's her family." But Zia didn't hear her.

AS everyone gave their greetings to Arianna and they ate, Taryn thanked Thalia's family profusely and waited top talk to Arianna alone. She really needed to relay something along to her and her siblings. Taryn wondered how they fit in since she never saw them on the train, but she shook it off.

Arianna had a flashback: She was only two or so. Her parents were still alive, and that night's dinner was pizza. It smelled so good. Arianna took one bite. She almost died that day; her tongue swelled, her lips turned blue, and her throat clogged up, not allowing her to breathe. All of this happened withing 5 minutes.

She had never fully recovered until she was about seven. "Could I maybe have something else, I'm very allergic to pizza." Arianna didn't want to break into Thalia's house, and then just turn back their hospitality. That was very rude, but she couldn't exactly eat the pizza; she would be dead in minutes. She was trying to act normal, as if she wasn't afraid of anything, which was completely false.
