Okay, you better let me stay here or I'm gonna die! [Felicity ... open]

Sorry ... it's kinda short.


Arianna was … how do you put it??? Sick and tired of “district searching” so to speak. She just wanted to settle down for at least a little bit, at least. But no, they (Arianna and her siblings, Carter, Ashleigh, Christina, and Rosalyn) were, once again, on the rebel train, going to another district, to see if it was good enough for them. Arianna sighed. She doubted that this district was gonna be good enough, because, this one was 2, the one who’s the “teacher’s pet” or something like that, to the capitol. Okay, well … look at it, they actually supplied the capitol of their peacekeepers. Arianna herself wouldn’t mind at all if she stayed here at least a little while. Arianna decided there and then that she was gonna try to convince Rosie to let them stay, and, as she figured, something would have to convince Rosie … there were, after all, only 12 districts. As usual, she made a diversion that made the train have to stop, right in front of the district. That's another thing, Arianna thought. I need to stop creating diversions. It's the same train, same people ... I'm gonna get myself killed someday. This time, she opened a window, making the gross stench outside come into the train. The train stopped, and Arianna took a breath as she opened the doors.

Arianna stepped out in the Sunshine. She found herself in the middle of a group of peacekeepers. Uh-oh. Arianna thought. It wasn’t exactly the best thing to come off the rebel train into a group of peacekeepers. Ooookayyy … ? Arianna thought desperately with a sigh that she had to stay calm. She stepped into the group of peacekeepers, her 4 siblings right behind her. She was, no doubt, scared. I any one of the peace keepers noticed her, she was, for sure, dead. End of story. She stopped thinking this when she saw a girl with very pretty blonde hair looking in her direction. Arianna quickly looked away, only a little bit convinced that the girl hadn’t seen her looking. Arianna looked back at the girl through her peripheral vision, so that the girl wouldn’t see her looking. The girl was still looking. Arianna was about to turn around, right before she saw the girl smirk at her. Okay … whattt’s upp??? Arianna thought again to herself. She wasn’t sure about this girl, for she was hugging one of the peacekeepers, which isn’t really a good sign most of the time. Arianna forgot her fears. She strode up to the girl nonchalantly. She waited until no one was that close to the girl, before she said ”Hello. My name is Arianna Redcloud. These are my siblings.” Arianna said while gesturing towards her family. ”We’re not from around here.”

Arianna was surprised at how kind and willing this one girl was. She, in her shocked mode did not do anything but smile widely. She had expected the girl to turn around from them, report her blatant unfamiliarity to the peacekeepers, hoping for her to be executed, something, but still, nothing. The girl asked if they had a place to stay in the district, and that if not they could go with her and her brothers home with them. Arianna couldn’t believe it! She finally managed something.
“W-we don’t h-have anywhere to go.”Arianna stuttered. She repeated herself, sounding more confident this time. She also added in a small little smile, just for clarity that they very badly needed a place, but didn’t want to be rude. She thought back. In most districts, her family just made a fort, but this night was very chilly, and, if they weren’t considered intruding, it would be very nice if Arianna and her family could go to someone’s house for the night.

Arianna looked more closely at the girl. She was very pretty. She looked like she was around Arianna’s age. She had curly blonde hair, and her face was flawless. Arianna took her gaze away from the girl, and started making circles in the dirt with her foot.

Arianna watched as Felicity's brothers walked up. One of them was rather small, and the other one was about their size, a little bigger. They didn't look much like Felicity, but she said that they were her brothers, so Arianna didn't question it. Arianna waited until they were closer, and then she introduced herself.

"Hello. My name is Arianna Redcloud." Arianna said shyly. She wasn't really in the mood for introductions, but she thought that if they were going to be going with Felicity and her family, then they should know who they are. "And these are my siblings" Arianna said, pointing to her siblings. She decided that it was time to shut up.

"Hey I'm Jakove. Thats Donovan, I guess Felic here invited you guys to stay over." The older boy said. Arianna couldn't help but smile. "Well you're welcome at my house." Arianna kept smiling at his kindness. She didn't know what to say. They started walking. Felicity stayed up ahead, but the boys stayed back with Arianna. Christina and Ashleigh also went up to walk with Felicity, followed by Rosie, so it was then just Arianna, Carter, and the two boys.

"Hello. My name is Arianna Redcloud. Thanks for having us over ... it means a lot." Arianna started walking with Jacove more, and Carter stayed with Donnovan. He started saying something to Donnovan.
Arianna heard Jacove ask from where she was. Arianna didn't know if she should answer or not ... she decided to.

"Well ... I'm not exactly from this district ... I'm from district 3." Arianna waited in reply for what he would say, as usual, with blood rushing to her face in fear that she had said too much.

She continued on walking passing a few shops and waving hello to a few Peacekeepers and older people. "Hi Keir!! Bye Keir!!" she said and Felicity beemed at the peacekeeper. He was one of her older cousints who luckily was assigned to District 2.

Her brother Jakove nodded and said, "If you've noticed yet Felicity's the same way. She doesn't come from this district. Or our family." he said this in a quiet voice as he watched his only "sister's" back. "She's been with us since she was eight but me, and dad are the only ones who know about this." he looked back towards donny. "The younger kids aren't allowed to know at all."

Arianna listened in awe to what Jacove was saying. It wasn't all that amazing, but Arianna just wasn't expecting that. Arianna could only smile. Then the questions came.

"Wait ... you said that Felicity came to your family when she was eight ... right? Does she know what happened to her parents???" Arianna kept her voice low and calm, only a little more than a whisper.

Arianna kept her ears open, as to listen to his answer while she looked back at Carter. He looked up at her and smiled his adorable little smile. Arianna felt a sudden pang of anger. Of course she had always been mad at the Capitol for taking innocent children from their own homes and putting them up for the slaughter. What if they took him??? What if they took Carter. Little twelve year old Carter who is just becoming a man. No. They couldn't. Arianna wouldn't let them. It just wasn't right. It shouldn't be right.

Arianna snapped out of her daze. She gave Carter one more look. It was a motherly kind of look. Carter looked back with a look like 'What the heck?' Arianna would've laughed if only she hadn't been thinking such thoughts only a second before. Arianna refocused on Jacove.
